Textile Studio

HAND WEAVING

During these thirty years, Farella Capri has increasingly specialized in handcrafted knitwear integrating it with the experimentation, study and research of manual weaving.
The technical, historical and cultural value of this ancient practice immediately adapted to the identity of the company as much of Capri textile history finds its roots in the world of manual weaving.

Hand made slowly

The growing interest in manual weaving has led Farella Capri to found a textile studio located in Via Valentino, an ancient structure in the heart of Capri that once housed the novice nuns.

This place today holds the whole weaving activity, the collection of manual looms
and the precious textile library.
In this special workshop creativity, research and Capri tradition come together in the creation of the cashmere shawls made slowly and totally by hand.
